Uninsured drivers who were involved in dozens of accidents – some of them catastrophic – are still on the hook for millions of euro in costs related to the incidents.
They owe the money to the Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland (MIBI), which has secured judgments against them following the crashes.
